We announce the death of David Thompson (Las Vegas, Nevada), who passed away on October 7, 2026, at the age of 70. David’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Thompson and Phyllis Dunbar.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 22nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bunker's Eden Vale Mortuary (925 Las Vegas Blvd N, Las Vegas, NV 89101). A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, November 22nd 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Cosmetology School. Although he eventually retired the lingerie concept, Curl Up N Dye endured for more than three decades, surviving changing fashions, economic downturns, and a pandemic.
A memorial concert honoring his musical legacy and contributions to the Las Vegas entertainment community is being planned for Spring 2027.
