He was predeceased by: his parents, Emile Morris Augustine Jr. and LoEsther Augustine; his siblings, Frederick Webster Augustine (Freddie), Burnell Johnson Augustine (Burnie), Judith LoEsther Duran (Judy), Jacqueline Foster (Jackie) and Emile Morris Augustine III; and his close friend Betty J. Nance.
He is survived by: his brother Baron "Richard" Augustine (Dickie); his daughter April Augustine-Thomas; his son-in-law Rashawn Malik Thomas; his grandson Jeremiah Jordan Thomas; his sister Joyce Elmore; and his cousin Mona Hussain. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, in-laws, cousins, and friends.
