He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Katzman and Sarah Katzman; his siblings, Milton Katzman and Lorraine Kaplan; and his siblings-in-law, Gabe Goldsmith, Barbara Brannan and Eleanor McCarthy.

He is survived by: his brother-in-law William Goldsmith. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
