She is survived by: her former husband Louis Byrd, Sr.; her children, Dawn Chambers (Freeman, Jr.) and Byron Miles (Eva); her grandson Freeman Chambers III; her siblings, Barbara Ladmirault, Esther Baldwin and Reuben Edward Oakes; and her nephew Cassius Oakes. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
