He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph F. Brown and Corrine Brown; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Mackenzie Allison Renna, Connor Emge and Halle Emge.

He is survived by: his sisters, Corrine Emge of Roslindale and Carolyn Renna (Bob) of South Weymouth; his nieces and nephews, Tobey King (Tim) of East Bridgewater, Matthew Renna (Allison) of Hingham, Ryan Emge (Kathryn) of Weehawken, NJ and Kyle Emge of Edinburgh, Scotland.; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Emily, Katie, Carolyn Santamaria, Michael, Jack and Kaylee.

In lieu of flowers and to honor Joe's memory, the family asks that we all remember to stay in touch and check in with each other, and wear more green (Joe loved all things Irish and all things green - including his quirky habit of writing only with green ink!).
