He is survived by: his daughter Laura Herring Favazza; his stepson Maxwell Pancoast; his brother Thomas Michael "Mike" Herring; his children, Joseph "Joey" Kenneth Herring, Jr. (Jennifer Herring) and Marlena Hayward; his wife Janet Pancoast; and his stepchildren, Benjamin "Ben" Pancoast (Erin Bumgardner) and Abigail "Abby" Pancoast (Cody Johnson). He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
