He was predeceased by: his parents, John O'Brien and Madelynn Scales. He is survived by: his wife Clausell O'Brien (Punk); his stepsons, Bob and Michael Neeleman; his granddaughter Charlotte; his brother Larry O'Brien (Mary); and his brothers-in-law, Bo (Maria) and Brian Holimon (Kathy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
