It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LeRoy Bernstein of Las Vegas, Nevada, born in Denver, Colorado, who passed away on April 4, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Bernstein and Sarah Bernstein; and his pet Kelev. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Schecter; his children, Bart Chapman, Jay and Melanie Bernstein; his grandchildren, Jacob Ryan, Isaac Donovan, Benjamin Meyer and Hannah Brielle; and his cousins, Ernie Gilman, Ilyse Zesch Conn and Terese Zesch.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Community Kollel of Greater Las Vegas or, in honor of his love of keeping children healthy, to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
