Melissa Mitchell, 37, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away unexpectedly on August 21, 2026.

Born in Las Vegas on March 15, 1989, Melissa lived her whole life in the city she called home. She was, above all, a devoted mother to her daughter, Gia, who was her heart.

Melissa had a warmth and spirit that touched everyone she met, and she carried her love for Gia and her dogs with her always.

She is survived by her daughter, Gia; her mother, Kathy, and step-father, David; her father, Bill; her sister, Danielle her niece Adrianna, and her niece Cadence.

Services will be held privately by the family, who respectfully ask for privacy at this time.

Melissa was loved deeply, and she will be missed beyond measure.
