Michael Degan Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael Degan (Las Vegas, Nevada), who passed away on May 21, 2025, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Michael Degan to show support.

In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Michael leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Michael may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

He is survived by: his stepdaughter Pam Minick; and his stepgrandchildren, Adam Sanderson, Adrian Wilkins, Jamie Tucker and Tina Haggerty. He is also survived by his spouses' children and grandchildren.

He found immense satisfaction in his work, particularly his contributions to the groundbreaking first Mars Exploration Rover.
