Patsy (Huddleston) Block Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patsy (Huddleston) Block (Las Vegas, Nevada), born in San Saba, Texas, who passed away on April 30, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving behind many mourning family and friends. Starting out as a medical secretary in Muleshoe, TX, she would later go on to become a nursing home administrator in San Antonio, TX. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in elementary education in Bemidji, MN, and worked as an elementary teacher in Albany, GA until she retired. She is survived by: her son, Dr. Steven Block of Lubbock (wife, Melba); her daughter, Starla Immak (husband, Rewat) of Puyallup, WA; her grandson, Dr. Scott Block (wife, Claire) of Palo Alto, CA; her grandson, Dr. John Block (wife, Gretchen) of Juneau, AK; her granddaughter, Taña Block from Lubbock, TX; her granddaughter, Dr. Joy McKenna (husband, Dr. Austin) of Redwood City, CA; her grandson, Sean Immak, and granddaughter, Star Immak, both of Puyallup, WA. Patsy Block also has two great-granddaughters, Iona, and Orna Block, and a great-grandson named Atlas McKenna. Patsy will be privately cremated, and she and her husband's ashes will be laid to rest at Sumner Cemetery on August 1st.
