He was predeceased by: his father Gerard Werner (Rod). He is survived by: his mother Marian Werner; his sister Amanda; his brother-in-law John Rongo; his sibling's child Whitney; his son-in-law Christopher DiMaiolo; and his sibling's children, Veronica and John.
In lieu of flowers, Scott's family asks that a donation be made either to the American Cancer Society or Shatterproof, an organization focused on breaking the cycle of addiction.
