He was predeceased by : his parents, Milan Cyrus Boyce and Dortha N. Campbell; his siblings, Harvey Boyce, Clell Boyce, Bonnie Johnson and Mack Boyce; his daughter-in-law Mary Waldroup; and his children, Bart Boyce and Penny.

He is survived by : his former life partner L. Marie Staker; his wife Eileen; his children, Tina Retford (Steven) and Bret Boyce (Amy); his stepchildren, David Waldroup, Emzily Waldroup, Kim Marshall and Vicki Nelson (Ben); and his brother Bard Boyce. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
