With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wendell Arthur Thompson of Lund, Nevada, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 31, 2026 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Wendell departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Wendell. Though Wendell may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Andy Thompson and Perline Thompson (BeHank). He is survived by: his significant other Hilda Thompson; and his siblings, Darrell Thompson Sr. (Wanda) of Duckwater, Stanley Thompson of Ely, Rodney Thompson of Elko, William Thompson (Irene) of Ft. Duchesne and Alissa Thompson of Duckwater. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
