He was predeceased by: his parents, John Howard and Bernice Winifred Riley (Collett); his sisters, Jane Riley and Mary Lou Ames (Amos); and his sons, John Patrick Riley and Daniel Howard Riley.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Trudell of Patrick's Catholic Church; his children, Charles (Sue) of Eau Claire, WI, Greg of Bagley, WI and Theresa "TJ" Klysen (Jeremy) of Eden Prairie, MN; his sister Jo Ann Foley (Roger) of Williamsburg, IA; and his grandchildren, Kayla, Samantha, Connor, Ben, Jack, Luke, Brooke, Emily, Anna and Sophia. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; as well as many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (911 W Prospect St, Durand, WI 54736). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
