He was predeceased by : his father Douglas Law. He is survived by : his mother Carolyn Law (Scherf); his wife Heather; his daughters, Allie, Avery, Olivia and Addison; and his siblings, Jamison, Jeremy, Adam and Lindsey.

Only a day or two in, Doug became very ill with kidney failure (he had donated his kidney only months before).
