He was predeceased by: his parents, James Blackburn and Juanita Blackburn; and his son Eric Blackburn. He is survived by: his wife Karen Gail Mears of Overton; his children, David Schalles (Melissa) of Surprise, AZ and Jamie Romero (Jeff) of Overton, NV; and his grandchildren, Branden Romero (Mariah), Ryanne Romero, Kendall Romero, Gabriella Schalles and Eryka Romero. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Logandale Stake Center (2555 N St Joseph St, Moapa Valley, NV 89021). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Logandale East Stake Center (2555 N St Joseph St, Moapa Valley, NV 89021).
