He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton White and Hazel White; and his siblings, Sharon Alexander and Ted White. He is survived by: his son William Joseph White (Elizabeth); his wife Judith Ann; his grandsons, Jason and Billy; his stepchildren, Steven Groos (Arlene) and Joni (Bill Kennedy); and his sister-in-law Benda White. He is also survived by three grandsons.
