He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Wayne Boykin Sr. and Katherine Lavada Spears; and his sisters, Cindy Wood, Tammy Boykin and Patsy Boykin.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Boykin; his sons, Jason Bowles (Nikki) and Chad Boykin; his grandchildren, Myka, Kane, Ashlyn, Alania, Brinley and Camdyn; and his brothers, Roy Boykin (Debbie), Lewis Boykin, Thomas Boykin (late Lisa) and Dale Boykin (Diana).
