It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chrysanthy Victoria Holbrook (Reno, Nevada), who passed away on August 12, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Chrysanthy departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Chrysanthy. Though Chrysanthy may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Matt Chotas and Helena Chotas. She is survived by: her husband Bill Holbrook; her daughter Shelby; her son-in-law Thomas; and her grandchildren, Matt (Alexis), Zach and Makena.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the Nevada Humane Society.
