Joan Aiazzi Shaffer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Aiazzi Shaffer (Reno, Nevada), who passed away on December 8, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pete Aiazzi and Estelle Aiazzi (Lacy); her grandparents, Emilio and Vinila Aiazzi (Quilici); and her brother Ronald Aiazzi.
She is survived by: her husband James "Jim" Robert Shaffer Jr.; her stepdaughter Audrey LaGrasse (Lee); her daughter Lindsey Besoain (Ben); her grandchildren, Adam LaGrasse, Jason LaGrasse and Kinsley Besoain; her brother Stephen Aiazzi (Denise); and her sister-in-law Carol Cecil (Donald). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
