He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Whan and Helen Whan; and his wife Sue. He is survived by: his children, Denise van Doorn (Edwin), Mike Whan (Denise) and Christine Whan (Michele); and his former wife Jeanette. He is also survived by 6 siblings, 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Waltonâ€™s Funeral Home (875 W 2nd St, Reno, NV 89503).
