He was predeceased by: his sons, Laurance Thomas Jr. and David Thomas; his sister Joan; and his grandson Paul Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Gloria; his former wife Joan; his children, Roberta McDermott, Christopher Thomas and Sandra Baker; his foster son Patrick Steppuhn; and his pet Katie. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild.
