He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom R. Harris and Lenore C. Harris; his daughter Lyn Ellen; his former wife Carol; and his wife Linda.
He is survived by: his children, Kim (Daniel) and Tom (Dora); his grandchildren, Courtney, Taylor (Kurt), Tom D (Hailey), Stevie (Pat), Bobby and Garrison; his great grandchildren, Colton, Nia, Briggs, Lachlan, Camden, Cora and Callum; and his brother-in-law Tony (Susie). He is also survived by 3 nieces and 1 nephew.
Tom was awarded the Melvin Jones fellowship for community service by the Lion's Club International Foundation in June 2005. Tom was chairman of sustained membership enrollment for Boy Scouts of America, on the board of directors for the Credit Managers of Northern Nevada, and a co-chairman of the American Heart Association golf tournament in 1995.
