He was predeceased by: his wife Caryl Adams; and his child Tracy Redmond. He is survived by: his children, JJ Ballard, Rand Ballard, James Joaquin Ballard (JJ), Wesley Ballard and Cary Ballard; and his sister Joaquina Howles.
