He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Grace; his siblings, Richard and Alberta; his mother-in-law Ruth Young; his brother-in-law Robbie Hutchings; and his nephew Richard Carno.

He is survived by: his children, Sheila, Leslie (Bob), Brent, Scott and Devin (Carrie). He is also survived by in-laws, but were more like siblings, and friends who were more like blood relatives.
