It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jason Anthony Sacks (Fernley, Nevada), whose life came to an end on May 4, 2024. After a brutal battle with Cancer, Jason passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones.
Born on November 14th 1970 in Castro Valley California to Ralph and Sonja Sacks. Jason grew up in Dayton Nevada and attended Storey County School District in Virginia City Nevada. Jason loved riding his dirt bike throughout the desert, camping with his family, helping others with all kinds of projects or simply making memories with his wife. He is preceded in death by his father Ralph Sacks. Survived by his mother Sonja his wife Sybil, daughters Kendal and Kamryn Holck and Ralphi Sacks, Brother Arné, Sisters Leslie, Louise, Starr, and Wynter and many more relatives including nieces, nephews, brother in-laws, aunts, and cousins. “I can’t express how heartsick I was learning of Jason’s death. Jason and I became acquainted with each other through a mutual friend, (Charles Lake) but soon became fast friends. We three hung out and caused quite a bit of mischief in our late teens. I’ve got a few stories to tell, and since the statute of limitations has long run out, I believe it’s safe to tell them. My sincere sympathies to the family, I always admired how the Sacks family were always close.”
