With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Rene Chew in Sparks, Nevada, born in Los Angeles, California, who passed away on July 29, 2025. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joyce Rene Chew to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jack; and her sister Joan Wennstrom. She is survived by: her child Roddy McDowell; her close friend Jack; her family Jack; her aunts, Katherine "Aunt K" Kibbe and Mary "Sis" Young; her children, Jeffrey P. Chew (Ariz), Lorna J. Chew-McCarty, Randall K. Chew, Gregory M. Chew and Calif; JC Farms and Jim McCarty. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A vigil service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church (1138 Wright St, Reno, NV 89509). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
