We announce the death of Loris Viola Stegmiller (Sparks, Nevada), who passed away on July 11, 2026, at the age of 88. Loris will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Cortezzo and Vivian Stockwell; and her husband Lawrence "Larry" Stegmiller. She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Stegmiller Becker (Mitchell Becker), Kenneth Stegmiller (John Turano), Diane Stegmiller Bartosch (Steve Bartosch) and Michael Stegmiller (Jannie Stegmiller); her grandchildren, Charles Becker, Stephanie Becker, Christopher Becker, Elizabeth Bartosch (Fred Garbutt), Natalie Becker Kuelker (Thomas Kuelker), Valerie Bartosch Barrow, Juliebelle Bartosch Brodersen (Braden Brodersen) and Grace Bartosch; and her great grandchildren, Lonnie, Codi, Colby, Khloe, Kaylie, Liam, Marigold, Emma and Sage.
A rosary will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (2900 N McCarran Blvd, Sparks, NV 89431). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
