She was predeceased by: her parents, David L. Speegle and Edith Louise Roper; her son Ricky Morton; her brother Douglas Speegle; her son Terry Morton; her stepson Curtis Upshaw; and her granddaughter Jessica Morton.

She is survived by: her husband Royse Upshaw; her sons, Randy Morton (Apryl) and David Morton; her adoptive son Kory Morton; and her stepchildren, Mark Upshaw (Tonya), Rory Upshaw, Mike Upshaw, Scott Upshaw and Micki Moon (Dale). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
