He is survived by: his spouse Sundae Lowery (Simons); his siblings, Bob Orwick (Jennifer), Joan Luft of New Orleans, LA, Mary Burket (Jeff) of Spearfish, SD and Marcia Olson (Dan) of Spearfish, SD.; and his nieces and nephews, Ashley Selgeby (Kevin Crago), Will Orwick (Madison), Sam Orwick (Bri), Erin Luft Katz (Alex), Courtney Luft Buchholz, Alexis Burket, Logan Burket, Trevor Olson (Angela), Nick Olson, Ryan Olson and Zack Olson (Taylor).
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Star of the Sea Catholic Church (306 6th St, Newell, SD 57760).
A memorial has been established to the Mud Butte Volunteer Fire Department.
