It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald V Swanson of Winnemucca, Nevada, born in Saint Cloud, Minnesota, who passed away on December 21, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edith J Swanson and Clarence E. Swanson; his wife Gloria Backus; his children, Sheri Harris (Nick), Paula Skinner (Mike), Don and Mike; and also Reverend Bill Backus. He was also cherished by eleven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Pleasant Senior Center building fund at 1480 Lay Street in Winnemucca.
