“I’m Judy’s cousin, Gilbert. In our youth, she became the closest thing to a younger sister that I would ever know. Judy’s dad was a much loved physician, uncle and mentor. I served as godfather to Judy’s first child, Gene. Judy and I were blessed to share a remarkable Christian grandmother, who witnessed Pawnee raiders on the Nebraska prairie and Reagan’s second inauguration during her lifespan of 104 years. Rest in peace, child of God.”
