He was predeceased by: his parents, Kendall Bartley Towne and Charlotte Bereniece Brown; his uncles, Frank and Jerry; and his stepson Justin Shier.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl; his children, Scott Towne (Melissa), Debra Wallace (Jerry), Stephanie Wells and Charlotte Dyer Towne (Bobby); his stepdaughters, Laura Hollenbeck (Steve) and Ruth Fitzpatrick (Robbie); and his sister Sally Semas (CO). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and 3 nieces.
