It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Christy of Yerington, Nevada, born in Schurz, Nevada, who passed away on January 8, 2026, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though George may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those George touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanford Christy Sr. and Frances Christy Hicks. He is survived by: his children, Bryson, Kaylee, Annie, Leanne and Eileen; and his siblings, Debra, Mary, Grace, Stanford Jr., Frank and Jeff. He is also survived by numerous relatives, grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
