He is survived by: his wife Michele Slaven (Mickey); his children, Kenneth Slaven, Michele Dunning (John), Jamie Wynne (Patrick) and Erin Slaven (George); his grandchildren, Patrick Rion, Toniann Dunning, David Lincoln (Annalee), Shane Rion, Amanda Rion, Kristina Slaven, Samantha Osborne, Nicole Slaven and John Smith (Christine); and his great grandchildren, Hunter, Aiden, Rylee, Mira, Levon, Kyla, Avery, Adrianna, Lilyanna, Thomas of Jersey, JJ, Julian and Autumn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
