With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Ann Messina of Accord, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 21, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Shirley leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Shirley may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Ford and Sueko Ford (Yamazaki); her husband Anthony J. Messina; her daughter-in-law Stephanie Messina; and her granddaughter Kelly Messina.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Messina (Walt) of Salt Point, Anthony Messina of Accord, Timothy Messina (Molly) of New Paltz, Tracy Burton (Damon) of Guilderland and Jason Messina (Liz) of Hyde Park; and her sister Mary Lou Ford. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
