She was predeceased by : her son Thomas; her son-in-law Andrew Atkins; and her sisters, Amy Cambron, Dorothy Aloan and Janice Switzer.

She is survived by : her former life partner George Franklin; her daughter Sally; her son-in-law George LaPlante; her grandson Brian (Rachel Atkins); and her great grandchildren, Jacob and Natalie Atkins. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
