He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome O'Brien and Joan O'Brien. He is survived by: his wife Tammi O'Brien; his siblings, Kathy Wilson (Steve), Patrick O'Brien (Mary), Daniel O'Brien (Marcine Edgar) and Raymond Aldrich II (Ellen); and his daughters, Allison O'Malley (Brian) and Danielle O'Brien. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to South Jefferson Rescue Squad or Hospice of Jefferson County.
