She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Thierry and Dorothy Thierry; her former husband Theophil L. Kush; her daughter Sundee L. Engel; and her siblings, Joe, Stevie Thierry and Arlene Thierry.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Earl (Steve) of Adams and Theophil "Ted" Kush (Yardley) of Virginia Beach, Virginia; her siblings, Robert Thierry, Yvette and Yvonne; her grandchildren, Justin Engel (Ashley), Jessica Engel, Gracie, Austin, Hailey Elliott, Tucker, Ireland Earl, Braxton (Raven), Brahn and Brynley Kush; and her great grandchild Caspian Kush. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Carpenter-Stoodley Funeral Home (7883 NY-289, Henderson, NY 13650). The military honors will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Brookside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Lorraine's name to Hospice of Jefferson County.
