Ralph C. Overton Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Ralph C. Overton (Adams, New York). Ralph, born on August 1, 1949, passed away on August 25, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Overton and F. Ralph Overton; his sister Carole Newell; and his brother-in-law Stephen Cobb. He is survived by: his former wife Elaine Overton; his children, Travis Overton (Leslie) of Watertown, Stacie Overton Johnson (Cory Johnson) of Watertown, Dr. Carla Overton (Michael Walsh) of Camillus and Katelynn Overton (William Carr) of Seattle; his sister Patricia Jones (Peter); his siblings-in-law, Nancy Cobb and Eli "Bud" Newell; and his grandchildren, Tatum, Willa, Aliza, Abel, Nola, Calla, Tessa, Holly, Jude and Cameron. He is also survived by six nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Piddock Funeral Home (7 N Park St, Adams, NY 13605). A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to the Northern New York Community Foundation where they have established a memorial scholarship for an Indian River High School athlete in Sandy's name.
