He was predeceased by : his parents, Asa Fairbanks and Marjorie Fairbanks; and his siblings, Jerry Fairbanks and Carol Ward. He is survived by : his wife Sandra Fairbanks; his children, Tina Swader, Melissa Bruning (Mark) and Micah Fairbanks (Amy); and his siblings, John Fairbanks (Martha), Rodney Fairbanks (Brent) and Susanne Klock (Robert). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
