He was predeceased by : his sons, David Johnt (Christine) and D. Howard Johnt; and his wife Nancy Johnt. He is survived by : his pet Gunner.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ross Funeral Home of Akron (10 Eckerson Ave, Akron, NY 14001).
