She was predeceased by: her parents, Angelo Bartelli and Ruth Bartelli; her husband Donald Whiting; her sister Audrey Brackett; and her nephew Dale Brackett.
She is survived by: her sons, Donald Whiting, Jr. (Nancy Hoak) and Michael Whiting (Marybeth); her grandchildren, Andrew Whiting (Emily), Benjamin Whiting (Katie), Alexandria Whiting (Eric Sattelberg), Philip Whiting (Amanda) and Emily Macht (Alex); her nieces, Sue Brown (Gregg), Nancy Dawydko (Keith) and Laura Case (Dave); and her sister-in-law Laura Mattioli.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ross Funeral Home of Akron (10 Eckerson Ave, Akron, NY 14001). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Teresa of Avila Church (5771 Buell St, Akron, NY 14001).
In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions may be made in Dolores' memory to the Newstead Historical Society.
