Floyd Rehwaldt Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 8, 2026, at the age of 83, Floyd Rehwaldt of Akron, New York, born in Batavia, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Rehwaldt and Anna Rehwaldt (Bruning); and his brothers, Francis, Laverne and Robert Rehwaldt.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Rehwaldt; his children, Floyd G. Rehwaldt, Jr. (Dawn), Marcia Brogan, Janet Ingalsbe (Shawn), Beverly Rehwaldt and Cheryl Rehwaldt (Dan Madden); his sister Dorthea Jago (Fred); and his sister-in-law Norma Rehwaldt. He is also survived by grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. Michael's Lutheran Church (6379 Wolcottsville Rd, Akron, NY 14001). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions may be made in Floyd's memory to St. Michael's Lutheran Church or to the Wolcottsville Fire Company.
