It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marcia Gere of Akron, New York, born in Auburn, New York, who passed away on October 16, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Gere and Dorothea Nichols Gere; and her sister Shirley Klein (Alvin). She is survived by: her nephews, Chuck Klein (Lony), Larry Klein (Tete) and Paul Klein (Nan); and her niece Karyn Klein.

In lieu of flowers charitable contributions may be made in Marcia's name to the American Cancer Society.
