She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter "Sam" Poodry and Constance Tahamont Poodry; her husband Michael Block; and her son Michael Poodry. She is survived by : her sons, Russel Block and Alexander Block; her siblings, Juanita Poodry-Dunn of Batavia and Kenneth Poodry (Nancy) of Basom; and her grandchildren, Michael Smoke, Madison Block and Marisa Block. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the J. Leonard McAndrew Funeral Home (32 John St, Akron, NY 14001). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
