He was predeceased by: his parents, Olin Edwards and Florence Edwards (Towner); and his significant other Caroline Edwards (Foley). He is survived by: his children, Michael Edwards (Debbie) and Laurie Barszcz (Mark); his grandchildren, Tyler Edwards (Katie), Austin Edwards, Taylor Barszcz and Trent Barszcz (Heather); his great grandchildren, Travis PeQueen, Ayden PeQueen, Lochlan W. Edwards, Teagan Barszcz, Wyatt Edwards and Alexandra Edwards; and his pets, Cinder and Coco.
The military honors will be held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Akron (122 Main St, Akron, NY 14001).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Walt's memory to the First Baptist Church of Akron.
