He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Rosonowski and Dorothy Rosonowski (Dickes); his brothers, Richard Rosonowski and Douglas McCabe; and his grandson Joshua.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Rosonowski (Wheeler); his children, David Rosonowski, Laura Miranda, Paula Melson (Ken) and Jennifer Revell; his grandchildren, David, Jessica, Julia, Nicole, Ben, Jamie and Walker; and his siblings, Randy McCabe (Sherry) and Julie Taylor (Kevin). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ross Funeral Home of Akron (10 Eckerson Ave, Akron, NY 14001). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Western New York National Cemetery (1254 Indian Falls Rd, Corfu, NY 14036).
In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions may be made in Walt's memory to Akron First United Methodist Church for the C. Dee Wright Center.
