Bret A. Cook Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bret A. Cook (Akwesasne, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 8, 2025 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Cook and Barbara Cook (Gesslein); and his siblings, Dale Cook and Lester Cook. He is survived by: his children, Paige Cook of San Francisco, CA, Walker of Akwesasne and Jake Cook of Akwesasne; his siblings, Carl Cook of Akwesasne, Phyllis Jacobs of Akwesasne, Randy Cook (Florence) of Akwesasne, Lionel Cook (Louise) of Akwesasne, Leon Cook (Velma) of Akwesasne, Debra Cook of Akwesasne, Bob Cook of Akwesasne, Doreen Oakes (Curtis) of Ontario and June Hogue (Larry) of Rochester; and his godchildren, Nancy Cook and Cole Adams. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
